Rail-booking websites might make booking trains seem easy, but do they show you the best journey options. Researching journeys from London to Bourg St Maurice I found a glaring example of where Trainline's website only showing journeys with an additional — unneccessary — change of train (at Chambery). Whereas Rail Europe's showed the direct journey from Paris to Bourg St Maurice. The moral of this story is always check more than one website before booking.
