Located between two historical canals in the heart of the city, The Grand boasts a rich history. It transformed from a 15th-century convent to royal lodgings and from the Dutch admiralty headquarters to the city hall of Amsterdam. The Grand now offers five-star luxury in a unique ‘Amsterdam’ ambiance, furnished with French elegance and grandeur.

The legendary location is now a place where gourmands can savour the delights of fine dining restaurant Bridges and Mediterranean gardenbistro Oriole. The Garden Terrace, located in the beautiful green inner garden, is one of Amsterdam’s best kept secrets – an oasis of peace and tranquility. In the afternoon, you can withdraw to Library ‘Or’ to enjoy The Grand Afternoon Tea.
