There's no better gadget in case of weather emergency, or simply to pack along on your camping trip. The Hand Crank Solar Radio is a dependable way to stay connected with the rest of the world as you disconnect with your mountain hiking trip, or as your hiding under your staircase waiting for the tornado to pass over your house. Even if all of your worldly possessions are gone with the wind, at least you'll have an AM/FM radio to catch up on local sports interviews and Top 20 Hits! The Hand Crank Solar Radio will run consistently if in direct sunlight, or for 30 minutes after 1 minute of cranking.
