Check-in with Chris from the Points Passport on his first Moxy hotel stay on his last trip to Europe prior to COVID-19. This hotel is one of Marriott Bonvoy's newest properties, the Moxy Lausanne City, Switzerland. At this unique new hotel, you actually check-in at the bar, which doubles as a front desk. While you check-in you are also greeted with complimentary drinks, which are always happily welcomed! Cheers!

The Moxy Lausanne City is located between Geneva and Zurich on the beautiful Lake Geneva. This is the Points Passport's first Moxy Hotel stay, and we found it to be a nice mix between a W Hotel and an Aloft. The Moxy definitely has a more industrial vibe, which we liked, but wasn't completely functional when it came to closet space, or lack thereof, especially while traveling internationally.
