One Ton, one of the world's last remaining Super Tuskers, has died of natural causes in Kenya's Chyulu Hills. With his immense, ground-sweeping tusks, calm demeanour and gentle presence, he became one of Africa's most iconic elephants and an ambassador for the conservation of his species. As one of fewer than 100 super tuskers left on Earth, his loss is profound, but his legacy will live on through the people he inspired and the ongoing efforts to protect the last of these extraordinary giants.
