Recently, I took my first solo trip to Tulum Mexico.
I love to travel and generally when I take a trip, it’s usually a girls’ trip with my besties and we never leave the United States. I’ve wanted to travel solo internationally for years but have always been a bit afraid to due to my anxiety. I’ve been actively working on overcoming the aspects of my anxiety that limit my ability to enjoy my life to the fullest. So, as soon as I received my Passport, I took my first solo trip to Tulum, Mexico and I have to say that I had an amazing time! I stayed at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum in an oceanfront king suite, ate fantastic food and got to have many first time experiences- I took early morning walks on the beach, watched the sunrise while I listened to the sound of ocean waves, visited the Mayan Ruins and got to experience a Mayan ritual and took a dip in the beautiful waters of a cenote. I definitely look forward to taking more solo trips in the very near future and Tulum and Bahia Principe Grand Tulum resort will forever hold a special place in my heart. I feel forever changed by the experiences there. My accommodations were lovely, and the resort and grounds were gorgeous, spacious and immaculately kept. The staff was the BEST! I will definitely visit Bahia Principe Grand Tulum again and next time, I'm taking my family.
