Welcome to the Flip House: Episode 1

I bought a flip house! I'm a little bit nervous and a lot excited. I'll be sharing the progress with you here on YouTube and today is the first installment to share an overview of the work that needs to happen. The goal is to do as much of the work myself as possible but there are a few places where I'll need a contractor to help.

It's an amazing home built in the early 1900s and I can't wait to bring her back to life and give her a fresh new look! What Ioved about this property when I first visited was the layout and the bones. For the most part, this is a cosmetic overhaul with less heavy lifting/ renovation required. I plan to remove some decor choices, give everything a fresh coat of paint, remove wall to wall carpeting and add a few decorative touches. It's in a fun part of town near to bars and restaurants and the Long Island Sound so I'm hopeful there will be a market for resale or rental when the time comes!

Leave me any questions you have and I'll try to answer them in subsequent videos!
