Schengen Visa is a uniform visa comprising 26 countries that aboiished the visa and checkpiunts to Schengen member nations.
For me as a Traveller, is more convenient having obtained one visa and I tour around European cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Italy.

Lately, Italy has joined the Schengen states, 20 years ago, Italy was non-Schengen and required separate visa for Italy alone, 1997; likewise with United Kingdom- London, the are not member with Schengen states, snx required z separate visa to be issued by British embassy at country of origin.

Embassies require Bank Certificate and proof of back-and-forth ticket as proof of going back to country of origin.

Bank Certificate as proof that you are financially able to suppirt your stay in Europe for a month or 30 days, hotels booking;
Plane ticket reservation certificate is to be issued by the carrier, KLM was my airline with home base in the Netherlands issued me the certificate of flight reservation and itineraries.

Europe is the best place to unwind and release pressure after years of working as a Management Consultant.

My travels to Europe was my gift to myself as reward, I've done my best.
