The Merdeka 118 development is funded by Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) with a budget of RM5 billion. The tower is sited at Petaling Hill. When completed in 2021, the tower will be the tallest building in Malaysia. The tower is designed with a mixture of diamond shaped facets. The glass and steel building with its spire is to resemble the raised hand of Tunku Abdul Rahman when he proclaimed independence at Stadium Merdeka.

It will contain a shopping complex, offices, and residential areas. The height is 644 m (2,113 ft) make it the tallest in South East Asia. It is also tallest tower in Malaysia, second highest in Asia and in the world.

There will be mind blowing attraction, observation deck. It is going to be very exciting where we can see most of Kuala Lumpur from the observation deck.It will have 82 stores of office floor. 18 floors are reserved for six-star luxury hotels. 18 floors for sky lobby , observation deck including mechanical and electrical facilities. And also 7-storey shopping mall of 900,000 square feet. PNB Merdeka 118 tower will definitely redefine Malaysia in all aspect especially in tourism and economy.
